Terms of Service

midterm is a lead-generation marketplace for mid-term furnished rentals. We publish listings submitted by or prepared on behalf of property hosts and, once you sign in, let you view their contact details so that you can reach out directly.

midterm is not a party to any rental agreement, does not act as a real-estate broker or escrow agent, does not hold keys, does not collect rent, and does not handle payments or deposits between hosts and tenants. Any agreement you enter into with a host is strictly between you and the host.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use the Platform. When you sign in through Google or Facebook, we create an account linked to the profile information returned by that provider. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for any activity that occurs under your account. Do not share your account with anyone else.

Signing in lets you reveal host contact information (phone, WhatsApp, Viber, email) for listings you are genuinely interested in. Contact details must be used solely to inquire about a mid-term stay at the specific property. You may not use revealed contacts to send marketing, spam, or any unsolicited commercial communication, to scrape or resell data, or to harass or defraud hosts.

If you submit a property or allow us to create a listing on your behalf, you warrant that you have the right to offer the property for mid-term rent, that the information you provide is accurate and up to date, and that you have the right to upload any photos or other content you submit. You agree to keep availability, pricing and contact details current, to respond to tenant inquiries in good faith, and to comply with all applicable laws, including local rental, tax and tourism regulations.

You agree not to: (a) submit false, misleading, fraudulent or duplicate listings; (b) impersonate any person or entity; (c) attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, its accounts or its infrastructure; (d) use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to collect data from the Platform except for public search engines operating in accordance with our robots.txt; (e) upload content that is illegal, defamatory, infringing, discriminatory, or that contains malware; (f) interfere with or disrupt the Platform or other users' use of it. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You retain ownership of the content you submit (including photos, descriptions and messages). By submitting content you grant midterm a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example, to resize or watermark photos), publish and display that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform. All other rights in the Platform, including its software, design, brand and trademarks, belong to midterm or its licensors.

The Platform integrates third-party services including Google and Facebook (authentication), Amazon Web Services (hosting and image storage), Cloudinary (image delivery) and Mapbox (maps). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms. Certain pages — for example, the travel insurance page — contain affiliate links. midterm may receive a commission when you purchase through those links, at no additional cost to you. We only link to providers we believe are legitimate, but we do not endorse them and are not responsible for their products or services.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, midterm disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that listings are accurate, that hosts or tenants are who they claim to be, or that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free. You are responsible for verifying any property, host or tenant before entering into a rental agreement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, midterm and its officers, employees and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform, any transaction between a host and a tenant, or any content on the Platform. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms is limited to EUR 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless midterm from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

You may stop using the Platform and close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or to protect the Platform or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification and governing law) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, through a banner on the Platform or by email). Your continued use of the Platform after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Plovdiv, Bulgaria, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.
